Leopold Robert Kölsch (born June 21, 1870 in Karlsruhe ; † March 14, 1922 there ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kölsch attended the Karlsruhe Realgymnasium. After completing his apprenticeship, he spent a longer period in England and Belgium. He was a deputy sergeant in the Landwehr and since 1903 a member of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce in Baden, since 1905 a city councilor and since 1910 a deputy commercial judge. He was awarded the Knight's Cross 2nd class of the Zähringer Löwen .

From 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Baden 7 ( Offenburg , Kehl ) and the National Liberal Party . His mandate expired on November 27, 1913 because the Election Examination Commission declared the 1912 election to be invalid. In the replacement election on February 3, 1914, he was re-elected and belonged to the Reichstag until 1918.

In 1919 he became President of the Baden Regional Association, which he remained until his sudden death in 1922.
