Leopold von der Osten (politician)

Leopold Graf von der Osten (born June 16, 1841 in Groß Jannewitz , † 1916 ) was a Prussian entails owner and politician.

He was a member of the noble family from the east . His father Julius von der Osten (* 1808; † 1878) was the owner of the Groß Jannewitz manor in the Pomeranian district of Lauenburg and a member of the Prussian manor house. His mother was born von Kleist .

Leopold von der Osten donated the Jannewitz Fideikommiss in 1892 . In 1897 he was raised to the Prussian count status. In 1899 he was appointed a member of the Prussian mansion for life at the presentation of the Association of the Pomeranian Castle Seated Sex from the East . He was also elected in 1916 in the constituency of Lauenburg as a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania .
