Leopoldo Castañeda

Leopoldo Castañeda Hernández (born January 6, 1970 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a former Mexican football player who mainly played in defensive midfield and after his active career started a football school for children.

career

As a professional footballer , Castañeda played in his hometown of Guadalajara for the Leones Negros de la Universidad de Guadalajara , with whom he won the Mexican Cup in the 1990/91 season and in which he was under contract until at least the 1992/93 season. He also played in Guadalajara for Atlas Guadalajara .

In the 1994/95 season he was part of the squad of the UAT Correcaminos team , which was the last time that first division football was brought to Ciudad Victoria .

Between 1996 and 1998 Castañeda was under contract with Puebla FC .
