The Leorin River is a river on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay . The river runs through the peaty regions in the south of the island north of the Oa peninsula .

It flows out of this in the northwest of the western Leorin Loch . At first it flows in a north-westerly direction, but then turns in an arc to the west. It passes the village Leorin west of the B8016, then flows under the A846 on its way from Port Ellen to Bowmore through and unites about 100 meters west of the road with the Bach Abhainn Airigh Bhaile-Chaluim for Kintra River , the approximately two kilometers to the west at Kintra (Islay) flows into Laggan Bay , a side bay of Loch Indaal . Overall, the Leorin River covers about 5.1 km from its source to its mouth.
