Les Etchemins is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .
It is located in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches and consists of 13 subordinate administrative units (eleven municipalities and two districts). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Lac-Etchemin . The population is 17,051 and the area is 1806.0 km², which corresponds to a population density of 9.4 inhabitants per km².
