Lesumstotel is one of six localities in the municipality of Ritterhude in the Osterholz district in Lower Saxony and has around 800 inhabitants. With the village of Werschenrege, Lesumstotel forms a village community with a common church (in Werschenrege) and a common village community facility (in Lesumstotel) with a fire station .

Regular events

Annual recurring highlights are the harvest festival with a large parade and the village community festival. In addition, annual sports festivals of the TSV Lesumstotel. The "Voluntary Fire Brigade Lesumstotel-Werschenrege" organizes a large herring dinner every year, which always takes place on the first Saturday in November, with a dance in the hall of the village community facility.
