Leszek Cieślik

Leszek Stanisław Cieślik (born November 18, 1955 in Sandomierz ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Cieślik studied at the Law and Administration Faculty of the University of Gdansk and graduated with a master's degree in law. Between 1987 and 1990 he was an employee and later head of the legal department of the state social insurance company Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych in Augustów . On July 20, 1994, Leszek Cieślik was elected Mayor of Augustów and remained so until 2007.

In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , he ran in the constituency 24 Białystok and was able to enter the Sejm with 9,564 votes . He works in the commissions for public finance ( Komisja Finansów Publicznych ) and for infrastructure ( Komisja Infrastruktury ).

Leszek Cieślik is married and has two children.
