Levante (* 23. May 1987 in Caltagirone , Metropolitan city of Catania , as Claudia Lagona ) is an Italian singer.

Career

Levante started her career in Turin with the independent label Inri . In the summer of 2013 she became known to a wider audience with the song Alfonso . Together with Davide Pavanello and Alberto Bianco she then worked on her debut album, which was released in early 2014 under the title Manuale distruzione . For her second album, Levante switched to Carosello Records; also Abbi cura di te , the 2015 appeared, was produced by Bianco. Prior to that, she performed at the South-by-Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas .

In addition to Stash , the singer appeared in the 2016 number one hit Assenzio by J-Ax & Fedez . With the song Non me ne frega niente she also returned solo at the beginning of 2017, in April of that year the third album Nel caos di stanze stupefacenti was released , which reached second place in the charts. She also published the novel Se non ti vedo non esisti with Rizzoli .
