The Levenov Point (English; Bulgarian Левенов нос Lewenow nos ) is a headland on the northeast coast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . As an extension of the Röntgen Peak , it is 3.04 km southeast of Cape Cockburn and 2.85 km north of Duclaux Point .
British scientists mapped them in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2015 after Nikola Levenow, captain of the Bulgarian trawler Burewestnik , who operated in the waters around the Kerguelen between December 1974 and February 1975 .
