Alexander Carey "Lex" Shrapnel (born October 6, 1979 in London ) is a British actor .

Life

Lex Shrapnel is the second of three sons of the actor couple John Shrapnel and his wife Francesca Shrapnel. His maternal grandparents are actors Deborah Kerr and Anthony C. Bartley . Lex Shrapnel's older brother is screenwriter Joe Shrapnel and his younger brother is filmmaker Tom Shrapnel .

That's why Lex Shrapnel decided early on for a career as an actor. He graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama . He got his first role in the film in 2002, alongside Harrison Ford , Liam Neeson and his father in the war film K-19 - Showdown in the Deep . Although Shrapnel was repeatedly seen in well-known productions, he was mostly present in supporting roles.

At the same time, he was repeatedly on the theater stage in England. 2002 he played at the Festival Theater in Chichester to Romeo in Romeo and Juliet .
