Placido Ralli

Placido Ralli (born November 26, 1804 in Rome , † December 11, 1884 ) was a Curia Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Ralli received on 22 December 1827 sacrament of Holy Orders .

He was secretary of the Congregation for Rites from 1875 to 1884 . Pope Leo XIII. appointed him on July 3, 1882 Latin Patriarch of Antioch . The episcopal consecration donated him on July 23, 1882 Camillo Cardinal Di Pietro , Cardinal Bishop of Ostia and Velletri ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Vincenzo Leone Sallua OP and Alessandro Grossi , Auxiliary Bishop in Tivoli .
