The internally Lexus USF50 called luxury sedan of the LS series of Lexus was first introduced in January 2017 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit unveiled. The hybrid version LS 500h made its debut at the 87th Geneva Motor Show in spring 2017. Since January 20, 2018, the new LS generation has been sold at prices starting at 93,300 euros. For the first time, a V8 engine is no longer used in the series. Already at the Tokyo Motor Show Lexus delivered a preview of the fifth LS generation with the LF-FC .
In July 2020 Lexus presented a revised version of the series.
Furnishing
The fifth generation of the LS is offered in four equipment lines. Both the LS 500 and the LS 500h are available in all of these variants.

The five-seater is based on the GA-L platform, which is also used in a shortened form in the LC . From this, the new LS 500h also takes over the 264 kW (359 PS) hybrid drive . In contrast to the previous model, the drive is weaker, but the manufacturer still promises better performance with lower fuel consumption.
