Li La Mood Bear
The Li-La-Launebär was a Sunday television program for children on RTL (initially RTL plus) with "Metty" Krings , which was first broadcast in February 1989.
The plot revolved around a moody bear who lived with Metty in a Cologne attic in Li-La-Launeland . In each episode, the two experienced an adventure, and music was often played. In order to impart knowledge to the children, clips - similar to the factual stories from the show with the mouse - were shown. In addition, Metty often drew his famous ravens during the show, most of which had a story to tell.
Guests were also invited to the program, who gave an insight into their professions in a child-friendly manner. In the later episodes, the outdoor moderator Claus Janzen was integrated as the “Rasende Roland”, who approached passers-by in cities for answers to questions such as “How do the holes in the cheese come?”.
Up to the spring of 1992, animated series (e.g. David, the Kabauter , Lady Lockenlicht and others) were also embedded in the program, which meant that the Li-La-Mood Bear had a running time of 90 minutes; the following non-animated episodes lasted 30 minutes. The last episode aired on November 27, 1994.
The Li-La-Launebär was designed and built by Dieter Kieselstein . The costumes of the bear were designed and made by Gisela Kieselstein .
The music group Die Doofen , consisting of Wigald Boning and Olli Dittrich , released the melancholy song Li-La-Launebär in 1996 , in which they sang about the bear as a former child star who no longer has a show and became an alcoholic.
