Claus Janzen

Claus Janzen (born February 11, 1962 in Hagen ) is a German actor , radio play speaker and director .

Life

After graduating from high school , Claus Janzen received an acting training at the theater school in the Theater der Keller in Cologne . His first stage positions took him to the Theater der Keller , the Stadttheater Dortmund and the Komödie Düsseldorf . Since 1993 he has been a member of the ensemble at the Millowitsch Theater in Cologne. In the 2002/2003 season, in addition to his work as an actor, he also took on many staging of the plays.

Claus Janzen has worked in various film and television productions . Among them were in 2003 the children's film The Tenth Summer by Jörg Grünler with Kai Wiesinger , Katharina Böhm and Martin Stührk and in 2011 the TV film Then came Lucy by Christoph Schrewe with Julia Jäger , Heio von Stetten and Olga von Luckwald . He also appeared as an actor in the television series Lindenstrasse , Stadtklinik , Lukas , Unter uns and Die Camper as well as the television series Tatort . In the WDR production Die Anrheiner and also in the follow-up series Ein Fall für die Anrheiner he played the continuous role of Udo Herkenrath since 2002 . In addition, Claus Janzen occasionally works as a radio play speaker.
