Christoph Schrewe

Christoph Schrewe (born August 19, 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German film and television director .

biography

Christoph Schrewe originally wanted to become an actor, but noticed that he enjoyed working behind the camera more and was not deterred from making films by the rejection of a film school . His first film, Late Summer , was bought by Südwestfunk and, like the next two films, was shown at the Berlinale . For example, the film Boomtown was shown at the 1993 Berlinale in the Panorama section. This was mainly followed by television films like Was ich gut? , Apocalypse Ice Cream or The Bible Code . One of his biggest projects in 2008 was the ProSieben two-parter Der Seewolf with Thomas Kretschmann in the lead role. Schrewe also shoots international television series such as Borgia , Mr. Robot , Criminal Minds , Versailles and Berlin Station .
