Berlin Station is an American television series that premiered on October 16, 2016 on Epix . Similar to the fifth season of the Homeland series, the series devised by Olen Steinhauer is located in the eponymous Berlin and was produced by the Babelsberg studio in Berlin and Potsdam . The first season consists of ten episodes. In German-speaking countries, the first season was released on July 18, 2017 on the streaming provider Netflix .
In November 2016, Epix extended the series by a second season, which premiered in 2017 and has been available on Netflix since October 17, 2017. In December 2017, the broadcaster Epix commissioned a third season of the series, which has been available on Netflix in Germany since December 8, 2018.
The series was canceled after three seasons.

The series is set in the milieu of the international secret services. Daniel Miller is an analyst with the CIA and is transferred to Germany to track down a whistleblower who has passed on secret information from the Berlin CIA branch. In the second season Miller fights against the machinations of the fictional German party Perspective for Germany . The third season is about the fight against a pro-Russian conspiracy in Estonia .
