John David Coles

John David Coles (* in United States ) is an American film and television director .

life and career

He directed five episodes of the Home Box Office sitcom Sex and the City , as well as individual episodes of Grey's Anatomy , Law & Order , The West Wing - In the Center of Power , Desperate Housewives , Homeland, and 11.22.63 - The attack .

Prior to that, during his studies, he directed a documentary about Amherst which was later broadcast on PBS . He also worked as an assistant to Francis Ford Coppola and also directed industrial films for AT&T and Pepsi . He also made his television debut with short films for NBC's Saturday Night Live .
