Ulas Kilic

Ulas Kilic (born September 30, 1975 in Großburgwedel ) is a German actor .

Life

Ulas Kilic spent kindergarten, pre-school and elementary school in Cologne , where part of his family settled.

He lived in New York City from 2000 to 2002 , where he began acting. There Kilic learned the Meisner technique from acting coach Phil Gushee . In 2002 he made his acting debut in the US HBO series Sex and the City , which was followed by other appearances in Emergency Room and Third Watch .

In 2002 he returned to Hanover and shot for student projects at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences in the field of fine arts. These short films, some of which have won multiple awards, include Abstiegsspiel and Melissa from 2004/05 and Puppeteer from 2006. Kilic then starred in the renowned BBC series Spooks - In the sights of MI5 , and also shot the ITV-1 series at the same time The Whistleblowers .

Kilic stood in front of the camera for the Sat.1 series Danni Lowinski in 2011 .

Since 2015 he has been filming for the American spy series Berlin Station in the continuous role of Bora Osman alongside Richard Jenkins , Michelle Forbes and Rhys Ifans . The first episodes of the Paramount series are expected to be broadcast on the American broadcaster Epix in autumn 2016 .

Ulas Kilic currently lives in Hanover and Berlin .
