The vegan kindergarten teacher Vicky gets to know 94-year-old Alma through a newspaper advertisement. They meet like-minded people in the Los Veganeros restaurant to plan activities. After plans for a pig fattening facility in Hanover arise, Vicky suggests kidnapping the fattener Heinz Granitzka. When they put this into practice, originally with the intention of pointing out the conditions in his company, it got out of hand.

The budget for the film was 25,000 euros. Director Lars Oppermann, who lives vegan himself, deliberately did not want to shoot a documentary with drastic images, but instead approach the topic with humor.
