Michelle Forbes
Michelle Renee Forbes Guajardo (born January 8, 1965 in Austin , Texas ) is an American actress .
Life
She was best known for her role as Bajoran Ro Laren in the series Starship Enterprise: The Next Century . In the computer game Half-Life 2 she loaned Dr. Judith Mossman her voice. She starred as Lynne Kresge in the second season of the action series 24 . In the television series Battlestar Galactica , she played Admiral Helena Cain, including as a leading role in the spin-off film Battlestar Galactica: Razor . In the BBC -Fernsehthrillern Messiah - The first murders / Time of Reckoning (2001), Messiah II - Vengeance is mine / hour of retribution (2003) and Messiah III - In a sign of anxiety / Death erases all guilt (2004) plays she is the deaf wife Susan Metcalfe of investigating Detective Chief Inspector Red Metcalfe ( Ken Stott ). In 2009 she played the role of Captain Gail Revas in the computer game The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena .
At the Saturn Award ceremony in 2012 , she received the award for Best TV Supporting Actress for her role in the series The Killing . She had already been nominated for a Saturn Award twice in her career, including an Emmy in 2011 .
Michelle Forbes was married to actor Ross Kettle .
