action

Karla works in a call center . She marries Zaid Yakin and has a happy marriage with him. Even the death of her father-in-law gives Karla no reason to doubt the perfection of her family until one night she discovers that her husband and son Hamy have disappeared without a trace.

Shortly afterwards, officials from the Federal Intelligence Service let her in on the ongoing investigation. It looks like her husband has returned to his homeland, Sudan , to plan a terrorist attack there. Karla travels to Africa to look for her son, disguised as a Muslim with a burqa .

Filming and broadcasting

The film was shot in November and December 2009 in Hanover , Erfoud , Ouarzazate and the Moroccan desert . The film premiered on July 2, 2010 at the Munich Film Festival ; the German first broadcast on television was on November 16, 2010 on Sat.1 .
