Victoria Mayer

Victoria Mayer (born May 6, 1976 in Münster ) is a German actress who works for both theater and film .

Life

Mayer grew up near Bremen and moved to Marburg with her family at the age of 13 . After graduating from the Elisabethschule , she worked as an assistant director in Marburg, Salzburg and Munich. From 1997 to 2001 she studied at the Bavarian Theater Academy .

Mayer became known by casting numerous supporting roles in television and cinema productions. Among other things, she played in the movie The Cloud . In the first to third season of the ZDF series Kommissar Stolberg she played the detective chief inspector Sofia Lechner. Furthermore, she worked around 2010 in the film Wie Sailor by Jesper Petzke .

She also celebrated success at the theater. It was around 2002 at the Academy Theater Munich in the title role in Yerma by Federico García Lorca and the same year at the Metropol Theater Munich in The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler to see. She was engaged at the Schauspiel Frankfurt for several seasons , where she performed in 2001/2002 in The Life of Bohème based on the novel by Henri Murger and the film by Aki Kaurismäki , in 2004/2005 in A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare and in the world premiere of in 2007 Gotthelm or Mythos Claus by Michael Lentz contributed. Together with the writer Jörg Steinleitner and the musician Helmut Sinz , Mayer has regularly appeared in lavishly staged, humorous crime readings since 2010.

She played the leading role in the SWR production Alpha 0.7 - The Enemy in You , which was broadcast in late 2010 on SWR television, the radio station SWR 2 and on the Internet.

In 2013 she shot the tragic comedy Hin und weg , directed by Christian Zübert, alongside Florian David Fitz , Julia Koschitz , Jürgen Vogel , Miriam Stein , Volker Bruch and Hannelore Elsner .
