Li Chunxiu ( Chinese  李春秀 , Pinyin Lǐ Chūnxiù ; born August 13, 1969 ) is a former Chinese walker .

Her greatest achievement was winning the bronze medal over 10 km on the road at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona . Although she only reached the goal in fifth behind Alina Iwanowa , Chen Yueling , Jelena Nikolajewa and Ileana Salvador . Ivanova and Salvador were however disqualified for losing ground contact during the final sprint, so that Li moved up to third place in the ranking.

In addition, she won the East Asian Games in Shanghai in 1993 and won the silver medal in the 10,000-meter track distance at the Asian Championships in Manila in the same year .

Li Chunxiu had a competition weight of 60 kg with a height of 1.70 m. During the torch relay in the run-up to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , she was used as a torchbearer.
