Li Dingzuo

Li Dingzuo ( Chinese  李鼎祚 , Pinyin Lǐ Dǐngzuò , W.-G. Li Ting-tso , approx. 8th / 9th century) was a Chinese classical scholar from the time of the Tang Dynasty . He is the author of a work on the Book of the Changes of the Zhou (Zhouyi 周易 or Yi 易), the Zhouyi jijie周易 集解 (Book of the Changes of the Zhou with collected explanations and comments), which is included in the Congshu Xuejin taoyuan学 津 讨 源 recording found.

His work is significant because of its quotes from Han Dynasty commentaries that are otherwise lost. It contains over 30 commentaries from the Han , Wei and Liuchao periods , which have been preserved. Among the over 30 scholars are Zixia , Meng Xi , Jing Fang and Kong Yingda .
