GDR field fistball championships 1971

The GDR field fistball championships in 1971 were the 22nd edition of the fistball championships in the GDR since 1949 . The final matches of the four best teams in the league took place on September 11, 1971 in a loop .

The fistball women of TSG Berlin-Oberschöneweide achieved a notable success, as they were third place in the finals of the GDR fistball championship as a newcomer to the league.

Relegation / promotion: Relegated from the upper league to the league were newcomer progress Eppendorf and the disqualified team from Empor Rudolstadt. As winners of the promotion round in the Leipzig "Stadium of Peace", Rotation Dresden and Progress Glauchau reached the GDR Oberliga in 1972 .
