The East German championships in field Fistball 1963 was the 14th staging of the East German championships of men and women in the field Fistball the GDR in the year 1963rd
The last game day took place on August 25, 1963 in the "Ernst-Thälmann-Stadion" in Zeitz , but the final men's playoff was not held until October 6, 1963 at the same location.
Women
The women's league was held in four groups this year. Unit Rostock, Lok Schwerin and Motor Rathenow competed in Group I; Promoted progress Groitzsch, SG Eutritzsch and activist Staßfurt played in Group II, Medicine Weimar, Motor West Suhl and Chemie Jena in Group III and Rotation Dresden Mitte, ISG Hirschfelde and Energie Görlitz in Group IV.
Lok Köthen's team, which was still bronze medalists in the previous year, no longer played in the major league - probably due to the regulation of forced relegation in the event of insufficient youth work.
