GDR field fistball championships 1989/90

The GDR field fistball championships in 1989/90 were the 41st edition of the field fistball championships in the GDR in the 1989/90 season since 1949 . Due to the accession of the newly founded regional associations of the German Gymnastics Association of the GDR , to which the Fistball Association of the GDR was affiliated, to the German Gymnastics Federation , this was also the last GDR fistball championship.

The season began with the first game day (the men) in Berlin and St. Egidien in autumn 1989. The two final tournaments of the four top division winners of the women and men took place on 14./15. July 1990 in Dresden .

The mode of the final round stipulated that the single round did not result in the final placements, but rather further placement games of the teams in 1st and 2nd place in the final and the teams in 3rd and 4th place in the small final decided on the medals.
