GDR field fistball championships 1977

The GDR field fistball championships in 1977 were the 28th edition of the fistball championships on the field in the GDR in 1977.

At the end of the five-month championship series, the final tournaments were played by the four best teams in the women's and men's competition on September 17th in the “Stadium of Friendship between Nations” in Schmiedeberg in the Eastern Ore Mountains .

Promotion round: The four season winners of the district group league and the upper league last Lok Schwerin in Groitzsch took part in the promotion round. Structure Dissenchen renounced the relegation. Lok Schwerin was ultimately able to remain in the league.

The regulation of the default counter, which was also applied in the fourth year, decided on the gold medal. After victories over the ISG Hirschfelde and Plasttechnik Greiz, the Dresdeners were already certain as the new champions before the insignificant defeat against the series champion Chemie Zeitz. It was the first time that they brought the championship title to Dresden.
