GDR championships in indoor fistball 1979/80

The GDR indoor fistball championships in 1979/80 were the 28th edition of the GDR championships for men and women in indoor fistball in the GDR in the 1979/80 season. The final tournaments took place in April 1980 in Halle-Neustadt . The four best-placed teams of the GDR Oberliga took part in the tournaments.

In the women’s category, Chemie Weißwasser won its fourth title in a row. Lokomotive Dresden defended its title in the men.
