GDR championships in indoor fistball 1970/71

The GDR indoor fistball championships in 1970/71 were the staging of the GDR championships for men and women in indoor fistball in the GDR in the 1970/71 season. The season began in November 1970. The final tournaments took place on March 21, 1971 in the sports hall in Wildau .

The four best-placed teams in the GDR Oberliga took part in the tournaments. In the men's final, ISG Hirschfelde defeated last year's champion Chemie Zeitz. Progress Zittau came in third, and the newcomer Rotation Dresden was left behind. There was also a new champion for the women - defending champion Lokschle failed in the preliminary round - this time ISG Hirschfelde got the upper hand over SG Görlitz in the last second.

3rd place match:
