Li Jie ( Chinese 李傑 , Pinyin Lǐ Jié ; born August 25, 1979 in Xi'an ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .
successes
Li Jie took the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in part with the air rifle. With 598 points he qualified as runner-up for the final, in which he again achieved the second-best result with 103.3 and came up with 701.3 total points. He won the silver medal behind Zhu Qinan and ahead of Jozef Gönci . At the world championships in Lahti in 2002, he won the silver medal in both individual and team competition with the air rifle, before becoming world champion with the team in Zagreb in 2006 . At the Asian Games in Busan in 2002 he won the gold medal in the individual and team competition with the air rifle and repeated this success in 2006 in Doha again with the team.
He is married and has one child.
