Li made his World Cup debut in November 2013 in Calgary . There she took eighth place in the team pursuit. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she came 27th in the 1500 m. In March 2014 she became the Chinese champion in the 1000 m. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season she achieved her first podium in the World Cup in Obihiro with third place in the 1000 m. At the following World Cup in Seoul , she won her first 1000 m World Cup victory. In the further course of the season she reached three third places over 1000 m in the World Cup and thus reached third overall place in the World Cup over 1000 m. At the Speed Skating Individual Distance Asian Championships 2015 in Changchun , she won bronze over 2 × 500 m, silver over 1000 m and gold over 1500 m. In October 2015, she became the Chinese 1500m champion. The following year she ran at the individual distance world championships in Kolomna on the 21st place in the 2x500-m run and on the 11th place over 1000 m and in the sprint world championship in Seoul on the 13th place. In the 2018/19 season she took 23rd place over 500 m at the individual distance world championships in Inzell , tenth place over 1000 m and fifth place in the team sprint and 16th place at the sprint world championship in Heerenveen .
