For the first time Liang Nuo appeared internationally at the Youth Asian Championships 2015 in Doha . There she took fourth place in the 400-meter run in 55.57 s and won the gold medal with the Chinese sprint relay (1000 meters). She then took part in the Youth World Championships in Cali , reached the semi-finals in the 200-meter run and was eliminated over 400 meters in the first round. The following year she took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City and was fifth in the 400 meters in 56.59 s. She also qualified for the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she was eliminated in 56.08 s in the preliminary run. In 2018 she again took part in the U20 World Championships in Tampere , Finland and this time reached the semi-finals. In addition, she was disqualified with the Chinese 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary stages and did not reach the final with the 4 x 400 meter relay either. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished fourth in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 33.72 min.
