Lidia Korsakówna (born January 17, 1934 in Baranowicze , † August 6, 2013 in Konstancin-Jeziorna ) was a Polish film, television and theater actress .

Life

Korsakówna lived with her parents in Wałbrzych after the Second World War . In the 1950s she performed in the Mazowsze National Song and Dance Ensemble . From 1953 to 1954 she played roles in the satirical theater in Katowice . Korsakówna began her film career in 1954 with the female lead in Leonard Buczkowski's romantic comedy Adventure in Marienstadt . Further roles followed in the 1950s, including 1955 in Jan Koecher's action film career , 1956 in Jan Rybkowski's Der Mann im Track or 1959 in Victor Vica's drama Jons und Erdme - The Woman of the Other . At the beginning of the 1960s she played the female leading roles in the two dramas Angeklagt (1962) and The demolished bridge (1963) by director Jerzy Passendorfer . In 1975 she starred in Andrzej Wajda's film drama The Promised Land alongside Daniel Olbrychski . In the 1980s she engaged in the cinema production of director Barbara Sass in The Girls from Nowolipki and in 1986 Korsakówna played again in a leading role in the drama Like the Seagulls in the Wind by director Jerzy Passendorfer. In 1990 she had her last screen appearance in Czesław Petelski's romantic war drama Bitter Love .

In 1968 Lidia Korsakówna also turned to Polish television, where she starred in episodes of series and television films. Her appearances included Stawka większa niż życie (1968), Stawiam na Tolka Banana (1973), Królowa Bona (1980), Białe tango (1981) or 13 posterunek (1998). Her last appearance on television was in the series Na dobre i na złe (2003).

She played roles in 30 Polish cinema and television productions from the 1950s to the 2000s, including Adventure in Marienstadt , Accused , The Demolished Bridge , Like the Seagulls in the Wind or Bitter Love .

On June 16, 2011 she was granted honorary citizenship by the Warsaw City Council . Lidia Korsakówna died on August 6, 2013 in Konstancin-Jeziorna . Her husband was the actor Kazimierz Brusikiewicz (1926–1989), and their daughter Lucyna Brusikiewicz came from this marriage.
