history
Liebherr-Aerospace in Lindenberg has existed as its own production company since 1960. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS based in Toulouse , whose sole shareholder is Liebherr-International AG in Bulle ( Switzerland ). Initially, the company dealt with simple repair orders and the manufacture of licenses for spare parts for aircraft. Gradually, the company entered landing gear, flight control and actuation systems for aircraft and helicopters. The most important customer in 2015 was Airbus , with a share of the total turnover of almost 50 percent. The rest of the turnover was generated by orders from manufacturers such as:

- Sukhoi
- Embraer
- Bombardier
- Comac and gearbox for the new Rolls-Royce engines
In Lindenberg, production takes place on a total area of 127,000 m², 82,000 m² of which is covered hall space.
