The Liechtenstein Swimming Association (LSchV) is the umbrella organization of the Liechtenstein swimming clubs . The association is based in Triesen and was founded in 1981 by decision of Aquarius Triesen and the Balzner swimming club.
Since then, the Principality of Liechtenstein has been eligible to take part in international swimming events. The LSchV is in close partnership with the Swiss Swimming Association . This gives Liechtenstein swimmers the permission to start the Swiss Swimming Championships, provided they reach the qualifying times. The members of the association include the Balzner Swimming Club (BSC), the Aquarius Triesen Swimming Club (SCAT) and the Unterland Eschen Swimming Club (SCUL). Another swimming club in the Principality, the 2010 YPS Club Swim Team Gamprin , is not yet a member of the LSchV.
The association itself is a member of the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee (LOC), the LEN (Europe) and the FINA (World Swimming Association).
