Liepe is a district of the municipality of Trebel in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

Geography and transport links

The village is located northwest of the core town of Trebel on the K 3 district road . The B 493 runs southeast of the town . The Elbe flows northeast and runs along the state border with Brandenburg . To the northwest, around 1800 extends the ha large nature reserve The Lucie .

history

On July 1, 1972, Liepe was incorporated into the municipality of Trebel.
