Lil 'Dap

Lil 'Dap (* in Brooklyn , New York ; real name James Heath ) is an American rapper and producer.

Career

It was first published on Gang Starr's Daily Operation with the track I'm The Man in 1992, then under the pseudonym Little Dap . Together with Melachi the Nutcracker, he played on the 1994 Gang Starr album Hard to Earn on the tracks Speak Ya Clout and Words from the Nutcracker .

In 1993 the first collaboration with DJ Premier appeared on Gang Starr Foundation Sampler . The first single became Supa Star in 1994. The official Group Home debut Livin 'Proof followed in 1995. The duo released their second album A Tear for the Ghetto in 1999. Over the next few years, both Group Home and Lil' Dap did away with each other rar.

In 2008 his solo album IA-DAP was released on the Babygrande label . The beats come from Large Professor , DJ Skizz and The Alchemist , among others . Big Noyd , Guru , Twin from Infamous Mobb and Melachi the Nutcracker are represented as features . Musically, it's East Coast hip-hop from the golden era of the 1990s.
