The Apóstoles Department is located in the southwest of the Misiones Province in northeast Argentina and is one of 17 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Departamentos Capital and Leandro N. Alem , to the east by the Department of Concepción , to the south by Brazil and to the west by the province of Corrientes .

The capital of the apóstoles is the apóstoles of the same name .
