Purple Dulali

Lila Dulali (* 1938 in Parvatipuram , Andhra Pradesh ; † May 3, 2005 in Koraput , Orissa ) was an Indian theater and film actress.

Dulali had her first appearance in 1948 as a child in the "Annapurna Theater". She has appeared in about 200 plays and 50 films over the course of her career. She often appeared in films by Nitai Palit , such as Bhai Bhai (1956), Kie Kahara (1968) and Bandhan (1969). She starred in Prabhat Mukherjee's Oriya films Nua Bou (1962) and Sadhana (1964) and appeared in front of the camera several times next to Oriya star Prashanta Nanda , including in the films Nua Bou and Bandhan . Lila Dulali died of heart failure in the hospital in the district capital Koraput .
