Lilian Annette García (born August 19, 1966 in Madrid , Spain ) is an American- Spanish singer and former ring announcer at wrestling events.

Life

She was born in Madrid , Spain , where her father worked for the US Embassy and where she spent the first eight years of her life. Her father then moved back to the USA and his family with him. She started singing very early. She often sang the US national anthem at games of the national basketball league and at the 1996 Olympic Games. 2007 her first music album was released, which bears the Spanish title Quiero Vivir .

WWE career

In 1999 Garcia signed a contract as a ring announcer with wrestling market leader World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE, formerly: World Wrestling Federation). There she appeared in the WWE-produced wrestling shows Raw and Superstars .

On August 1, 2016, Garcia announced via Instagram that she will no longer work as a ring announcer at WWE because she wants to take care of her father, who is suffering from cancer.
