Lilium anhuiense is a plant species from the genus of lilies ( Lilium ) in the Sinomartagon section . It wasfirst describedin 1991 by Ding Cheng Zhang and Jian Zhang Shao .
description
Lilium anhuiense reaches heights of between 60 and 120 centimeters. The approximately round bulb has a diameter between 2 and 4 centimeters, the egg-shaped-lanceolate to lanceolate scales are white, 1 to 1.5 centimeters long and 1 to 1.5 centimeters wide. The stem is finely papilla .
The leaves, which are spread out, are linear-lanceolate, 8 to 14 centimeters long and 7 to 11 millimeters wide, higher-lying leaves are curved towards the top of the plant or tendril-like.
Two funnel-shaped, fragrant flowers are usually formed in June . The bracts are white, those of the outer circle of the petals are elongated-round to spatulate, strongly narrowed at the base, up to 16 centimeters long and 3 to 4 centimeters wide; those of the inner circle of the petals are spatulate and 4 to 5.5 centimeters wide.
The nectaries are weakly papillary on both sides. The stamens are 9 to 12 inches long and slightly hairy, the anthers are brown and 1.2 to 1.5 inches long. The ovary is 3 to 3.5 inches long and 5 to 8 millimeters wide, the style 10 to 12 inches long.

The species has so far only been detected in the south of the Chinese province of Anhui in the Shitai district at altitudes around 800 meters.
