Lilo Bergen , born Marie Helene Liselotte Schlitzberger (* thirtieth January 1919 in Küstrin , Brandenburg, German Empire ) is a German dancer and actress of stage and film.

Live and act

The daughter of the senior government councilor Ernst Schlitzberger and his wife Hildegard Eckert attended high school and trained at a dance school. Marie Helene Liselotte Schlitzberger also took acting lessons as a teenager. Not yet 17 years old, she began her dancer career as Lilo Bergen at the Komische Oper Berlin, then worked at the theater in Zittau and again at venues in the capital such as the Berlin Prater, the Komödie and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm .

During her first time in Berlin, Lilo Bergen was brought in front of the camera and played a small secretary role in her first film in 1936. In the following year, the 18-year-old was able to prove her dancing qualities in “ Daphne and the Diplomat ”. Lilo Bergen's film career was short-lived, after five years it was largely over in 1941. Only in 1949/50 did Bergen find another job in front of the camera in a DEFA production with a tiny appearance. The artist, who is based in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, was only on stage after 1945 in the 1950/51 season at the New Berlin Theater and from 1953 for a few seasons at the Atrium Operetta Guest Performance Stage.

Nothing is currently known about Lilo Bergen's possible death.
