Limonium aucheri is a species of the genus of the beach Lilac ( Limonium ) in the family of plumbaginaceae (Plumbaginaceae).
features
Limonium aucheri is a perennial subshrub that reaches heights of 18 to 35 centimeters. The stem is branched at the base. The leaves measure 15 to 35 × 5 to 12 millimeters, are spatulate to wedge-shaped, wrinkled, fleshy and blunt to prickly. The outline of the panicle is rhombic to trugdoldig . The ears are one-sided, loose, curved, 30 to 80 millimeters in size and have 1 to 2 single-flowered spikelets per centimeter . The inner supporting sheet is 5 to 6 millimeters in size. The chalice is 6.5 to 7 millimeters in size.
The flowering period extends from April to May.
Occurrence
Limonium aucheri occurs in the southern Aegean and on Cyprus . The species grows on limestone and conglomerate rocks.
