Lincoln Brewster (born July 30, 1971 in Fairbanks , Alaska ) is an American singer and guitarist of Christian pop music .
biography
Brewster learned several instruments as a child and by 12 he had the band Lincoln and the Missing Links , of which his mother was a member. At 15 he moved to California and played in the high school band.
At 19 he had the chance of a big record deal, but then decided to give preference to his religious commitment. In addition, he remained a successful studio musician and went on tour with Steve Perry as an accompanying musician for over a year .
In the late 1990s he went to Nashville with his wife and helped build the Oasis Church. There he also joined a label and began to record his own albums of Christian pop music. In the mid-2000s he had his breakthrough with the live album All to You , with which he came into the US Christian Music Charts and which contained the top 10 hit Love the Lord . With Today Is the Day (2008) and Real Life (2010) he had two albums that not only reached the top 3 of the Christian album charts, but also the official sales charts .
