Linda Ferrando (born January 12, 1966 ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

Ferrando played her first match on the professional tour in May 1987 at the clay court tournament in Rome , where she was eliminated in the second round against Claudia Kohde-Kilsch .

In 1990 she achieved her best result in a Grand Slam tournament when she was in the second round of the US Open . From 1991 to 1993 she played for the Italian Fed Cup team ; she was able to record four wins and four defeats each.

In 1995 she played her last match on the women's tour when she failed in round one at the Australian Open .
