Linda Heins

Linda Heins (* 1978 in Lehrte ) is a German opera , operetta , oratorio , lied and concert singer with a coloratura soprano voice .

Life

Linda Heins began her vocal training in 2000 at the Cologne University of Music with Edda Moser . In 2001 she switched to Carol Richardson-Smith at the Hanover University of Music and Theater .

During her studies she sang the first boy in the opera Die Zauberflöte at the Hanover State Opera . It was followed by Queen of the Night, Adele in the operetta Die Fledermaus and Valentin in Fortunio's death . In 2005 she had a guest engagement at the Hamburg Chamber Opera .

From 2006 to 2008 the singer was a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Ulm . There she made her debut as a blonde in The Abduction from the Seraglio . There she sang, among others, Adele in Die Fledermaus , Smeraldine in Die Liebe zu den Drei Orangen , Johanna in Sweeney Todd , Drusilla and Amor in Die Krönung der Poppea , Ännchen in Der Freischütz , Christel in the operetta The Bird Trader , Bastienne in Bastien and Bastienne and Morgana in Alcina . She also sang this role in October 2008 at the Kiel Opera House for a sick colleague.

Linda Heins gave concerts and recitals in, among other places, Braunschweig , Göttingen , Hanover and the surrounding area (e.g. in the hall of Burgdorf Palace) and Ulm . In 2004 she sang in the braunschweigclassixfestival concert series .

In 2010, Heins was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Landesbühnen Sachsen . There she sang, among other things Gretel in Hansel and Gretel , Mi in the operetta The Land of Smiles and Marie in the romantic comic opera The armourer of Albert Lortzing .
