Linde Waber (born May 24, 1940 in Zwettl , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian graphic artist and painter .

Life

Waber studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . Waber started with colored woodcuts, between and next to the children (* 1974, * 1977). Since 1988 she has been making the so-called daily drawings, like a diary, i.e. one drawing every day. A second focus of her work is visits to the studio of other artists.

In 1961 she received the Oskar Kokoschka Prize from the City of Salzburg.
