The Linder Glacier is a steep glacier in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Lanterman Range of the Bowers Mountains, it flows south from the southern flank of Mount Bernstein to the Hunter Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1970 after Lieutenant Michael A. Linder of the US Navy Reserve Forces, communications and administration officer at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic winter of 1967.
