The Lindqvist Nunatak is a 1470 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Shackleton Range, it rises 10 km south of the Chevreul Cliffs in the eastern section of the Shotton snowfield .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1967 by the United States Navy ; the British Antarctic Survey surveyed the formation between 1968 and 1971. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1972 after the Swedish inventor Frans Wilhelm Lindqvist (1862-1931) who developed the Primus stove in 1892 .
